How we verify credentials
Provider onboarding is standardised across the region. Every therapist is checked directly with the issuing body before they appear here, and re-checked annually.

Professional registration and licence to practise
Counsellors & Psychologists Board
Registration under the Counsellors and Psychologists Act
Allied Health Professions Council
Clinical psychology registration and annual licence
We also verify qualifications with the awarding institution, take up references, and require ongoing clinical supervision. Therapists with unresolved complaints are removed from the roster and reported to their board.
Community & cultural resources
Beyond clinicians, we keep contacts for community organisations, women's associations, student services, and faith and traditional leaders who have completed our referral training. Ask a coordinator for the list nearest you. It is kept off the public site so that no one's participation becomes a matter of record.
